I was asked to write this song as a sort of answer to "Viking Prayer." As Odin has Valhalla, the goddess Freya has her own realm, Fólkvangr. Half of the worthy fallen go there, and in fact it is Freya who gets first choice.

Barbarians can be romantic too.
